"I got my first felony at the age of 13. I became addicted to hard drugs like heroin, cocaine, LSD...I found myself living in the streets homeless, and eventually that led to dealing drugs to pay for my habit. On April 1, 2009, I got the worst news of my life from a doctor who told me I had AIDS. At first I was really scared. All I had to do was sit on that couch and wait to die. And that's when I came to the point where I told myself I couldn't do this on my own anymore and on September 24th at 11 a.m. in the county jail, I turned my life over to Christ."
